Contrast, Balance, Harmony

I took this image when I was traveling in New Orleans last month. I really enjoy the life style there. Even though it wasn't during the Mardi Gras Day, people will drink cocktail and wander through the French Quarter, which is very cheerful. Masks are the necessity in Mardi Gras Day, so you can find a Mask at the souvenir shops. However, not all of the shop will sale the masks with their own design. These masks are displaying in the show window.

In this image, this main objects are masks. The mask, in the bottom one, looks most tangible; on the other hand, the other masks looks more dimer, the colors and the shadow reflects on the window give this contrast. Actually, because of the contrast, it makes the balance. The mask in the right side on the top almost has the same size and the same colors with the main mask, but the shadow reflect on the window makes the maks on the right illusory and make this image has only one main point.

For harmony, all of the objects are masks in this image, and all of them have the design elements relate to each other. For example, the main mask in this image has material with music, which is relate to the two masks back of it.
